Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) ranks among the institutions of National Importance. As a leading B-School of India, the institute is engaged in facilitating research, offering consulting services, conducting seminars and academic conferences and publishing journals of excellence.

Academic Excellence

IIM Bangalore offers degree-granting programmes that lead to Master of Business Administration, Master of Management Studies in Public Policy, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. In addition to the full-time programmes, the institute offers a wide variety of on-campus short-duration certificate programmes. It also offers a plethora of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) including the Micro Masters Programme in Management through the edX platform. Along with 11 disciplinary areas, IT has ten centers of excellence that offer courses and conduct research on interesting questions facing various sectors of industry.

IIM Bangalore has a strong alumni network across the world. Some of the prominent alumni include academicians such as Aswath Damodaran and Raghavendra Rau, author Karan Bajaj and filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman of ISRO and business executives like Ravi Subramanian and Sameer Suneja were also IIMB graduates.
