Adesh University, Bathinda, a pioneer in medical, health care, and technical education, started its journey in July 2012 under the Punjab Private Universities policy 2010. Eventually, the institute has begun its journey in professional healthcare education. The motive is to deliver the best quality education to the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ADESH FOUNDATION since its inception has introduced professional courses in health science and medical science for the science aspirants. In 2006, the Adesh Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences was established. In 2008, the Adesh Institute of Dental Sciences & Research was established to provide Dental sciences training to the students. 

The founder chairman of the institute Dr. HS Gill, M.D (Medicine), a great socialist, educationist, visionary, has started the institute to give the best professional education to the students.
