What is GCET?
GCET is a state-level entrance test organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. The admission will be provided to the applicants based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. The candidates will get admission in the Goa colleges and state government colleges. The NEET qualified applicants will seek admission in varied courses like BDS, MBBS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Science and B.Sc in nursing courses. As per the information, GCET 2022 will be organized on May 11, 2022- May 12, 2022.

GCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates who are appearing/passed and have appeared for the HSSC (Std.12th Science) or any equivalent exam before the beginning of the new academic session, are eligible to give GCET 2022.
Courses | Eligibility Requirements |
Engineering Courses | The applicant must have cleared their 12th or equivalent examination with PCM and English as their main subject. The candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. And, can take any of the following additional subjects, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science. At Least 45% are mandatory for the general category and 40% are mandatory for ST/SC/PH candidates. |
B.Arch | The candidates must have cleared their 12th or equivalent exam with Math as the main subject. 50% marks are mandatory for the general candidates and 45% are for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Plus, candidates must clear the NATA exam. |
BHMS and AHS | The candidate must have cleared their 12th class or equivalent exam. Physics, Chemistry & Biology are the mandatory subjects. For the general group, 50% are mandatory and For SC/ST/PH candidates, 40% are mandatory. |
B.Sc Nursing | The candidate must have cleared their 12th class or equivalent exam. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English are the mandatory subjects. The general candidate must secure 45% marks and SC/ST/OBC candidates must secure 40% marks. |
B.Pharma | The candidate must have cleared their 12th class or equivalent exam. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English are the mandatory subjects. Apart from these subjects, the candidates must opt for any one of the additional subjects, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Biology, and Computer Science |
GCET 2022 Application Form
The candidates, who want to participate in GCET 2022, have to fill out an application form in online or offline mode. GCET 2022 application form includes below forms:
Form A: This form is for applicants, who want to seek admission in GCET based professional courses like Pharmacy & Engineering.
Form B: This form has to be filled by applicants who want to seek admission in NEET based professional courses like BDS/MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/Nursing.
Form C: This form has to be filled by applicants who want to get admission in a BArch Degree based on NATA.

Physics: Electrostatics and Current electricity, Atoms and nuclei, Magnetic effects of current and magnetism, Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, Electromagnetic waves, Optics, Dual nature of matter and radiation, Election devices and Communication systems. |
Mathematics: Relations and Functions, Algebra, Calculus, Vectors and three-dimensional geometry, Linear programming, Probability. |
Chemistry: Solid state, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface chemistry, General principles and processes of isolation of elements, P-block elements, D and F block elements, Coordination compounds, Alcohols, phenols and ethers, Organic compounds, Biomolecules, Polymers. |
