The candidates need to follow the given procedure to get admission to the university.
The university offers admissions to students on the basis of their previous academic record. For an undergraduate program, one must pass a 10+2 or equivalent level of examination from a valid board of education with at least 60% overall. The students also need to appear in an online or offline aptitude test and must gain 30% marks. A valid score card in WBJEE or JEE mains is also appreciated, and the students gain scholarships according to their ranks. For a masters, the students need to have a graduation degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and a personal interview with the vice chancellor and other committee members.
The university offers campus placement drives for students in their final year. The university focuses on getting students placed during their academic session. The university hosts several national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and webinars for the students to keep themselves up to date with the latest information and industrial situations and how they can make their way through them.
