It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has a total of 14 colleges and offers more than 150 programs leading to undergraduatepostgraduate, and doctoral degrees in various specializations such as medical, engineering, paramedical, dental, nursing, law, fine arts, basic science, education, commerce, management, agriculture science, and many more.

The university considers JEE mains, UPSEE, and GATE examination for engineering courses, NEET UG is considered for the admissions in MBBS and BDS courses and NEET PG is considered for MD and MS. The minimum eligibility required for an undergraduate course is 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education in India with at least 50% marks with the similar courses. The postgraduate program requires a student to have an undergraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university. For a doctoral program, students should have a postgraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and a relaxation of 5% is given to the reserve category students.

The university organizes campus placement drives for the students in their final year of academics. The students have an opportunity to get placed in the top multinational companies during their academic session. The university calls over 627 companies in a session for campus placement drives. The highest package ever received by any student at the university is 48 lakhs per annum. The students received an offer of more than 20 lakhs per annum by five recruiters. The university has a placement record of 77% students at the campus. From management, 380 out of 476 students got placement offers. The College of Computer and IT has an excellent record of placing 506 students out of 619 students.
