The Swami Vivekananda Subharti University is a private university which is situated in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh and was established in 2008 and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university has a huge academic structure that offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in over 220 specializations such as medicine, paramedical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, engineering, science, arts, mass communication, education, law, management, commerce, and many more.
The university has several collaborations with international universities like Synergy University, Moscow, Russia; Shu-Te University, Taiwan; Lumbini Buddhist University, Lumbini- Nepal, Lincoln University College-Malaysia; and many more that offer faculty, students, knowledge, and resources exchange programs. The university organizes a number of seminars, workshops, live training programs, webinars, and guest lectures from industrial experts, which help students learn practical knowledge from intellectuals and industrial skills from the experts.

The university offers admissions to students on the basis of their previous academic records and their rankings in the entrance examinations organized by the university and other government agencies.
The university conducts an entrance test known as the Subharti National Eligibility Test (SNET), which is considered for the courses at the campus along with the other entrance exams organized by government agencies like NEET, which is preferred for admissions in medical courses.
The students are required to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent level of examination from a recognized board of education in India or abroad with at least 45% marks to get admission to an undergraduate program. For a master’s degree, students need to have an undergraduate degree in a similar subject from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, and in some courses like nursing and pharmacy, it is at least 55% marks.
For admission to a Ph.D or M.Phil program, students need to have a postgraduate degree in a similar subject from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 55% marks. The students also have to take the entrance examination organized by the university and have to get the cutoff marks.
The training and placement cell at the university offers a lot of opportunities for students to get placed in some national and multinational companies during their final year of academic session. The training department organizes several activities, like personality development classes, mock interviews, and aptitude tests, for the all round developments of the students, which will help them to perform well in the campus placement drives. The campus of the university is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh and spread over a huge area of 250 acres on the Delhi-Haridwar highway. The campus has a lot of greenery, trees, and an open area that offers an environment that is suitable for the students to complete their academic sessions. The campus has all the facilities like sports grounds, hospital, library, laboratories, hostels, auditorium, mess, canteen, bank, ATM, transportation, gym, and many more.
The university offers sports facilities to the students that help them to stay physically fit and active.
