The Raffles University is a private state university that is situated in Neemrana, Rajasthan. It was established in 2011 by the Gomber Education Foundation and later recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The candidates need to follow the given procedure to get admission to the university.
The students are given admission to the university on the basis of their previous academic records and the entrance test conducted by the university and other national level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc.
The university conducts an entrance test for all the courses except MBA. The written test has a 40% weightage and the counseling has a weightage of 60%, which will include the personal interview. For admission to an MBA program, the candidates have to score the cutoff marks in any of the entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, etc.
The eligibility of the students is necessary for each course. The students need to pass the 10+2 or an equivalent level of examination from a recognized board of education with at least 45% marks for admission to an undergraduate program. One has to have an undergraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India or abroad to be eligible for a master's degree. The university follows the similar norms of UGC for admission to a doctoral degree as one has to pass a postgraduate course in a similar specialization from a recognized university with at least 55% marks and a relaxation of 5% marks is given to reserve category students.
