Overview
The Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), which was formerly known as the All India Society for Electronics & Computer Technology (AISECT), is situated in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh and was established in the year 2010. The university has more than 5000 students studying in various programs like diplomas, undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctoral courses.
The university offers many professional and traditional courses in different specializations, like engineering, paramedical, management, commerce, law, arts, humanities, science, and many more. The faculty members at the university are well experienced and knowledgeable in their recognized fields, which assists students to complete their academic session with a lot of knowledge.
The university gives special emphasis on research and has 30 collaborations with national institutes and approximately 15 with international level organizations that help in the student and faculty exchange programs. Admission Process
The candidates need to follow the given process to get admission to the university.
- The candidates need to obtain the online application form on the official website of the university. They first need to register themselves with their mobile number.
- After registering, the candidate can proceed to fill out the application form by choosing the desired course.
- The students have to fill in their personal details along with their previous academic record to confirm their eligibility for the desired course.
- The application form will be considered complete only after the payment of the application fee.
- The students will then be called for an entrance test which will include the written tests along with the group discussions and personal interview.
- The university will prepare a merit list of the students according to their previous academic record and their performance in the entrance test conducted by the university.
- The selected students need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats in the university.
Results and Cut off
The university offers admission to students on the basis of their previous academic records and performance on the entrance test conducted by the university. Admission to undergraduates will require a student to pass 10+2 from a recognized board of education with a minimum grade of 50%, and some advanced courses require 60% at least. For a master's, students are required to have an undergraduate degree in similar specializations with at least 55%. The university follows the similar guidelines of UGC for the admissions in doctoral courses.

- Megha Parmar is the brand ambassador of the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign of the Madhya Pradesh government and the first woman from MP to climb Mount Everest.

Campus Facilities
The campus of the university is located in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, and is spread in a wide area of 50 acres with a lot of greenery and trees that offer a pure and healthy environment for the students and staff members to complete the academic process.
The university offers a library service which is equipped with more than 40,000 books, including academic books, journals, magazines, and other bestseller books. The library has a digital section where the books are available on CDs and other digital formats.
The campus has a transportation service that ensures the smooth mobility of the students and staff. There is a separate hostel for boys and girls which offers a mess service along with it. The food at the mess is healthy and nutritious, keeping the health of the students in mind.
The university organizes a regular medical checkup for the students to keep track of their health. The sports ground at the university hosts several sports tournaments that engage the students and provide some fun activities for students so that they do not get bored with the regular academic classes.
