Poornima University is situated in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan and was established in the year  2012 as a private university by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university offers courses ranging from Engineering, Architecture, Management, Commerce, Design, Science, Public Health, Computer Applications, and Hotel Management.

The university has experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who provide practical and theoretical knowledge to the students. The university has a lot of collaborations with foreign universities and industries that help students learn in a global environment, which will help them compete in their future career.

The university gives special emphasis on the placement of the students, and for that they provide various live training programs and different personality development programs. The student from here got the highest salary offer, of 33 lakhs per annum.

The university has a huge campus of 32 acres with facilities like hostels, mess, cafeteria, gym, wi-fi, Bank ATM, medical facility, library, laboratory, transportation, and many more. Course Highlights

The university has many faculties, which offer various courses in several specializations. Some of them are mentioned below.

• The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering offers courses like BCA, MCA, B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D in various specializations such as game technology, cloud, computing, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, and many more.
• The Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D degrees in various specializations such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, structural engineering, and many more.
• The Faculty of Design and Arts offers courses like B.Des, M.Des, B.Sc, BVA, and Ph.D in several specializations, such as fashion and textile design, interior design, and many more.

Admission Process

The candidates have to follow the given process to get admission to the university.

• The candidates have to visit the official site of the university and need to create a login ID.
• The students have to register themselves through the registration form by providing some of their personal details.
• The registration will be considered valid only after the payment of the registration fee, which will lead students to the application form.
• The application form should be filled completely with the required details and documents like certificates and marksheets of previous academic records.
• Submit the application form after verifying all the details and documents.
• The students need to pay the application token fee to proceed further.
• The students will be called for counseling, where they have to bring the certificate and marksheets to get confirmation of their admission.

Results and Cut off

The university offers admission for graduation in engineering with a required score of at least 45% in the primary three subjects of the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised education board, with a relaxation of 5% marks given to the category students. For a masters, the students need to have an undergraduate degree with at least 50% of marks and a relaxation of 5% in marks is given to the students of reserve category.

Placement

The university offers a lot of campus placement drives for students with an opportunity to get placed during their academic session of their final year. The placement cell at the university prepares the students to face the interviews and perform well during the placement drives. The university promises the placement with good packages and has seen a growth in the recent year as a student got a job offer of 33 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters of universities are Morgan Stanley, Capgemini, IBM, TCS,  Genpact, and many more.

Campus Facilities

The campus of Poornima University is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan and has a huge area of 32 acres that consists of a lot of greenery and trees, making it a place of pure environment and providing a very good environment for students to study. 

The library at the university has too many academic books in all disciplines like engineering, management, science, arts, humanities, health, and many more. The library has also evolved into a digital one that offers advanced facilities for e-resources like e-books, e-journals, etc.

The theater and seminar room at the university are used for guest lectures, seminars, live training programs, and some extracurricular activities. There are different laboratories for various specializations like computer labs, physics labs, chemistry labs, and many more for enhancing the practical learning of the students.

The university offers separate hostels for both boys and girls with a mess facility which provides healthy and tasty food to the students and staff. The menu of the mess changes on a regular basis to enhance the food quality. The university also has 7 cafeterias at different corners of the campus. Day scholars of the university love to spend time there.
