MGM Institute of Health Sciences

MGM Institute of Health Sciences is registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 as well as under Bombay Public Charitable trust Act. It was also conferred with Deemed to be University status under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by Ministry of Human Resource & Development, Govt. of India. The Undergraduate course (MBBS), Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/PG Diploma) and Super Speciality Courses (DM & MCh) of these Colleges have been recognized by the Medical Council of India from time to time.

MGM Institute of Health Sciences aims to be a top-ranking center of Excellence in Health Science Education, Health Care, and Health Research.

Research and Development:

Research experience and application of research are prerequisites to achieving excellence in research. The environment at the MGMIHS is favorable for research, which has encouraged the faculty to file & register patents, copyrights and designs. MGMIHS has been granted a patent.

The University encourages research and innovation in health services and clinical trials by faculty and students at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. levels. The infrastructure, equipment's and facilities of the Research Laboratories and Centres are excellent.

The MGMIHS Incubation & Innovative Centre and Institution's Innovation Council encourage research and start-ups. Research is connected with experience, critical, creative and independent thinking faculty who link academics and patient care with evidence-based outcomes.
