Manipal University is situated in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, and was established in the year 2011 as a private state university. Manipal University of Higher Education, Karnataka, is the parent university of Manipal University Jaipur. The university is also spread in foreign countries like Malaysia and Caribbean islands. Course Highlights

The university offers various courses under different faculties. Some of them are mentioned below.

• The Faculty of Engineering offers B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in various specializations such as computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, communication systems, structural engineering, and many more.
• The Faculty of Design offers courses like B.Arch, M.Arch, BFA, MFA, B.Des, and M.Des in various specializations such as fashion design, interior design, fine arts, and many more.
• The Faculty of Management and Commerce offers courses like BBA, B.Com, M.Com, BHM, IPM, and MBA in various specializations such as finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, and many more.
• The Faculty of Science offers courses like B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, and MCA in various specializations such as physics, chemistry, math, biochemistry, microbiology, psychology, etc.

Admission Process

The candidates have to follow the given process to get admission to the university.

• The candidates can apply for admission in online mode. They just have to visit the official website of the university.
• The candidates have to enroll themselves first on the portal by providing their name, email, and mobile number and have to choose the course for which they want to apply.
• After enrolling on the web portal, the candidate will have to fill in the detailed application form.
• The candidates need to submit their personal details and documents of previous academic records like certificates and marksheets.
• The students need to pay the application fee to complete the application form.
• The application form will lead the student to appear in the entrance examination of the university, in which they need to secure good marks to gain admission and scholarships.
• After securing cutoff marks, the students are called for the process of counseling.
• After counseling, the university prepares a merit list for each subject and declares the names of the selected candidates.
• The selected candidates need to submit the admission fee to confirm their admission to the university.

Results and Cut off

The university offers admissions on the basis of the students' previous academic records and the marks scored in the Manipal University Entrance Examinations. For an undergraduate program one needs to have passed a 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education with at least 50% marks in the primary subjects. For a masters course, the students are required to have a graduation degree in similar specializations from a recognized university in India. Foreign students are eligible for direct admission on the basis of their previous academic records.

Placement

The university offers various placement opportunities to students in their final year. Multiple companies regularly visit the university for placement drives. The highest package offered by the recruiter is 42 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 7.5 lakhs per annum. The university has the best placement records in engineering, where the students get an average salary offer of 7.5 lakhs per annum, with 98% of students getting placed. The training and placement cell provides a lot of mock tests and interviews that help students during their placement drives. A total of 91% of students were placed in the current session. The major recruiters of the university are Accenture, Amazon, Cerner, Cisco, Bosch, Dell, DXC, Ericsson, and many more.

Campus Facilities

The campus of Manipal University is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and has a huge area of 122 acres with a lot of greenery and trees, which provides pure air and environment for the students and makes them focus on their studies.

The university offers separate boys' and girls' hostels with mess facilities that provide healthy and tasty food. The mess menu is updated regularly, keeping the health of students in mind. There are also some cafeterias available at the university that provide snacks and food for day scholars and staff. 

The library at the university offers all the academic books for students, which can be rented for a semester. Many journals, novels, and bestseller books are also available at the university. E-resources like e-books, e-journals are available at the digital library.

The laboratories are filled with the necessary equipment, which is needed to enhance the practical knowledge of the students. The sports ground at the campus holds many tournaments, keeping the physical fitness of the students. 

An auditorium and a seminar hall are also available at the university. Many events, such as guest lectures, cultural programs, happen regularly at the university.
