Overview

JECRC University is a private state university in Rajasthan, famous for its classic architectural infrastructure. Rajasthan is famous for its old architectural buildings, and the university holds the culture of Rajasthan. The university acquires a total area of 32 acres with a green campus that maintains the environment and creates feasible conditions for the academic process. The university is situated in the prime location of Jaipur, which is easily accessible from each corner of the city.

The university offers many academic courses including diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The main focus of the university is to establish practical learning and innovation led research. The research programs are focused on educational growth and achieving something new in the changing scenario of world academics. 

With the help of practical learning, the students from here can easily get placed into the industries because they know how to work in an industrial environment. This university secured 114th All India Rank and 18th in Rajasthan in the IIRF University Rankings 2023. Students have bright and glorious futures here.

Course Highlights

● The Schools of Law, School of Design, School of Humanities & Social Sciences, and School of Allied Health Sciences offer various UG, PG, and doctoral courses.

Admission Process

The admission process here involves the following steps:

● The students have to qualify for the entrance exam by confirming their eligibility.

● After appearing in the university’s entrance exam, students have to cross the cutoff marks to enter the next process.

● The qualified students are called for the counseling, which include the group discussion and the personal interview in some courses.

● The document verification is done by the university to confirm the eligibility.

● After completing all the steps, the students need to submit the admission fee in the given time to confirm the admission.

The university offers admission through its own entrance exam, in which students prepare  for different courses and specializations. Different courses are offered by different departments, which have their own merit system. 

Some government entrance examinations also make students eligible to study in courses like Ph.D for those who have cleared NET/JRF or any state government Ph.D eligibility criteria. Students who pass the CAT examination are directly eligible to apply for an MBA program.

Results and Cut off

There are different cutoff criteria for UG, PG, and doctoral courses. For UG courses, one has to pass the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all subjects, with a pass in English, Physics, and Mathematics, and one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, and Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognised board of school education or equivalent. Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility criteria shall be given to the candidate who belongs to SC/ ST/ Rajasthan state OBC Non-creamy layer / women category.

Qualifying entrance exams have different cutoffs and criteria every year, so it is advisable for students to score good marks to confirm their admission to the desirable courses.

Placement

The university has a good placement record in recent years as the students from here get placed in  major companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, and many more. The students also got a chance to get employed in multinational companies. The focused approach of JECRC Campuses towards persistent and multidimensional grooming of students in-line with  industry expectations has led to a sharp increase in the number of placement offers, resulting in its students getting close to 2000 offers consistently since the last three years with increasing average salary packages.

In Phase 3 Placement Statistics for Batch 2022, so far a total of 2081 students have got job offers with a salary hike of 40 percent as compared to the previous year. A package of 7.0 LPA has been granted to more than 340 students, and a package of 5.0 LPA  has been offered to more than 550 students. A Super Dream Recruiter-Amazon offered packages going up to  44.0 LPA to our immaculate students. Wipro, TCS, and Capegemini are the top recruiters in recent years.

Alumni Network

The JECRC University Alumni Association is designed to foster alumni success and to enhance the alliance between the university and its alumni. It encourages alumni’s personal and professional growth, and inspires them to achieve their philanthropic goals while working together to keep alive our motto, “Build Your World”. The alumni here help to form a network between the companies and the universities.

Campus Facilities

The campus of the university is spread over a total area of 32 acres and has facilities like a hostel, a library, a laboratory, sports, a gym, and many other facilities that are needed for a college to provide a better education service at the campus.

The hostel has private single occupancy rooms with a wardrobe, study table with a chair that opens into a common living room equipped with a television set. All the rooms have the facility of wi-fi for academic purposes.

There are several sports grounds for various sports activities, with a gym that promotes the physical fitness of the students. The Students' Mess is next to the hostel, making it easily accessible and offering excellent food to the campus residents. The centrally air-conditioned dining area is supported by the kitchen, mess, and cafeteria. The complex also has convenience stores to fulfill the daily needs of the residents.
