GD Goenka University is a leading private university in India. The University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is competent to award degrees as specified by UGC under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956.
Courses Offered
The university currently has 10 schools and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Basic Sciences, Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Humanities & Social Sciences, Fashion & Design, Communication, Law, Architecture & Planning, Hospitality and Education & Medical & Allied Sciences. It also offers Ph.D. programs in all disciplines.
GD Goenka University has six hostels that can house approximately 800 students. The dining hall can cater to about 1,000 people at once. Areas for extra-curricular activities at GD Goenka Group include a number of sports facilities with grounds, grass and concrete courts and a net area for practice. The school has a half Olympic size swimming pool and two gymnasiums. The University campus is under CCTV surveillance, with 700 plus cameras installed all over the campus. There are 20 low-floor AC buses, which ply to Delhi NCR. GD Goenka has its own fire engine and an ambulance is available round the clock. In addition to the doctor-on-call facility, there is a resident doctor on campus as well, along with two nurses and nursing attendants on campus.
