Overview

The Arunodaya University is a state private university situated in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and was established in 2014, recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The university offers courses at each level of higher education, such as diplomas, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations like humanities, arts, social science, management, science, engineering, legal, and many more.

The university emphasizes on the quality theoretical education along with imparting practical skills through seminars and live training programs. The students get an exceptional set of knowledge from well experienced faculty members at the university, which helps them in pursuing a good professional career after their academic sessions.

Course Highlights

The university offers various courses in different faculties with several specializations. Some of them are mentioned below.

• The Faculty of Arts and Social Science offers courses like BA, MA, Master of Social Work, and Library Science.
• The Faculty of Commerce and Management offers courses like B.Com, M.Com. BBA, and MBA in various specializations such as tourism and hospitality management,  finance, accounting, production management, operation management, project management, finance management, information technology management, international business management, and many more.
• The Faculty of Science at the university offers courses like B.Sc and M.Sc in various subjects such as physics, chemistry, math, biology, and many more.
• The Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers courses like diplomas, B.Tech, M.tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (IT), and M.Sc (IT).

Admission Process

The candidates need to follow the given process to get admission to the university.

• The candidates have to visit the official website of the university to apply online and download the offline admission form.
• The candidates can fill in the application form of the university in online mode with their personal information and required documents like previous academic records to prove their eligibility for the desired course.
• If the candidate is unable to fill in the online application form then he/she can fill in an offline application form which requires the same details and documents and send it to the university through postal service or directly to the college registrar department.
• The students need to pay the application fee to submit the application form.
• After submission of the application form the students need to appear in the entrance test if required.
• The university will declare a merit list of the selected candidates.
• The selected candidates need to visit the university for document verification and to submit their admission fee to confirm their admission.

Results and Cut off

The university offers admission to students on the basis of their previous academic records and entrance tests in the required courses. For a doctoral program, the university follows the UGC guidelines that students should have a masters degree in a similar specialization with at least a 55% mark, and a relaxation of 5% mark is given to category students. The students are required to pass the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the university entrance test with cutoff marks. For a masters, students are required to have a graduate degree in a similar specialization with at least 50% marks. For undergraduate courses, students are required to pass 10+2 from a valid educational board in India.

The university offers campus placements drivers for the final year students in every course. The university believes in providing skill based education to the students, which surely helps them to gain good placement offers from campus placement drives. The university organizes several mock interviews and aptitude tests to prepare the students to face any kind of challenge during placement drives. The major recruiters of the university are Aditya Birla, Vodafone, Voltas, and Wipro, and many more.

The alumni of the university are currently working in good positions in their professional careers in many government and private sectors. The university has an alumni cell that organizes several events and keeps track of its alumni, which develops a relationship between the university and the corporate world. The alumni represent the university in the outer world and they make the reputation of the university. That helps in the campus placement drives at the university.

Campus Facilities

The campus of Arunodaya University is located in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, which is spread over a huge area of 65 acres. The university has a green campus and a large infrastructure that has class rooms, hostels, a library, laboratories, sports grounds, seminars, an auditorium, and many more facilities for the students to enjoy their academic sessions.

The university offers separate hostels for boys and girls that have clean rooms with light, fans, and wi-fi service. The mess is attached to the hostel, which offers a tasty and nutritious meal for the students and staff. 

The university has a gym where the students do intense workouts for physical fitness and the sports ground hosts several sports tournaments that keep students physically and mentally fit during the hectic academic class schedule. 

The library provides theoretical knowledge to the students with a lot of academic books, journals, magazines, and research papers. Where the laboratories offer the practical knowledge of the subjects along with the modern equipment that enhances the skills of the students. The university also has cafeterias that offer snacks and fun times for the students during the breaks between classes.
