The university offers admission to students on the basis of their previous academic records and entrance tests in the required courses. For a doctoral program, the university follows the UGC guidelines that students should have a masters degree in a similar specialization with at least a 55% mark, and a relaxation of 5% mark is given to category students. The students are required to pass the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the university entrance test with cutoff marks. For a masters, students are required to have a graduate degree in a similar specialization with at least 50% marks. For undergraduate courses, students are required to pass 10+2 from a valid educational board in India.
