Admission Process

The admission process for this university includes the following process-

● The candidate has to register online on the official website and then wait for the verification from the university side.

● Pay the application fee after the verification. 

● Upload all the required documents in the next step. The documents mainly consist of the academic record and the government identification cards.

● After the compilation of the above process and getting confirmation about the eligibility one can pay the admission fee to continue with the university.

To take admission in Arunachal University of Studies, one must  follow different procedures to take admission in different courses as the university accepts the students scorecards in any of the government examinations regarding that course. For example, if someone has scored the cutoff marks in the JEE Mains, he/she is eligible to take admission in the B.Tech course if they qualify for  the merit list. The students need to register themselves on the official site of the university with the registration fees, and then one can participate in the counseling process. The university also conducts the entrance examinations for the various courses. Anyone can apply for admission if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Results and Cut off

The eligibility criteria for various courses differ with their subjects, as one needs to have PCM as their subject in 10+2 with a total of 50% marks, and there is a relaxation of 5% marks for  reserved category and physically handicapped (PH) students  to take admission in an undergraduate engineering course. One  has to 10th pass out from a recognized school in India to get a diploma with a valid scorecard. Lateral entry in the second year is also possible if anyone applies for a diploma after 10+2.

• Dr. Kiren Rijiju is an Indian Politician from the university, currently working at the post of Cabinet Minister of Earth Sciences of India.
• Dr. Mahenrdra Nath Pandey is another politician from the university who is serving as Minister of Heavy Industries.
• Dr. Anshu Jamsenpa is an Indian mountaineer who was the first woman to climb Mount Everest twice in a season.
• Prof. Trilochan Mahapatra is the Secretary of the Department of Agricultural Research and Education.

Campus Facilities

The university offers the facility for scholarships to students  from the World Education Mission. One has to perform well in his/her academics to avail of this offer. This can provide a good help to the financially weaker students to continue with their study.

The university has a very good transportation service, which increases the mobility of both students and faculty. This directly enhances the academic performance of the university. Bus service is available both outside and inside of the campus.

The science and technological laboratories here at the university are well equipped with  modern and new instruments to carry out all the laboratory work and enhance the knowledge of the students with the practical exercises.

The hostel service can be considered good, having separate accommodation for both boys and girls. Although there are fewer rooms, that means everyone studying at the university is not supposed to get the hostel. The hostel also has a mess service which provides better and more  nutritious food.

The university’s library contains several books from all the academic fields. The students here have access to all the books and the research thesis works.
