Overview

Amity University Raipur, Chhattisgarh (AUC) was established in the year 2014. The university was set up by Ritnand Balved Education Foundation as its Chhattisgarh campus. It is a private institute, a part of a 20-year-old leading group of education. The university is recognized by UGC. The college has been accredited by NAAC with (A+) grade and is recognized by various national bodies like AIU, ACU, NAAC, UGC, AICTE, and many more. The university has been awarded many awards.

The faculty and administration of AUC belong to the best in class. They take care of all the requirements of the students to help them grow.  Alongside, they provide them education in all possible creative environments to stimulate the potential of students and nurture them into the best brains. To take education to a new level, the college has signed MOUs with institutes of international and national origin. The university also has tie-ups with many international universities like Claflin university USA, Nottingham University UK, Monash University, Australia, and Kyoto University, Japan.

Admission Process

The admission process at Amity Raipur is arduous. Amity Education's headquarters is a hub from which all its national and international branches disperse. A well-structured admission process precedes admission to any course offered at Amity Raipur. Among the steps are:

• Written test
• English language test
• Personal interview

In addition to the written test, the university conducts a common personal interview to determine suitability for the desired course. If selected during the selection process, the candidate is presented with a seat in the desired course on merit.

Results and Cut off 

Applicants must first meet eligibility criteria and then pass a selection process specific to each course for getting admission to any of the courses offered by Amity Raipur. For applications to most courses, an HSC with a 60% mark from a recognized board is the most common requirement for eligibility. Depending on the type, of course, you want to pursue, the discipline of HSC varies. To be eligible for admission to the college, the candidate must pass the college's selection process by clearing the personal interview and English language test. 

Placement

Students who are bright and sharp-minded can take advantage of the placement services offered by Amity Raipur. To take care of the placement services the university has the Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), located on the campus. The CRC consists of experienced faculty members, selected student managers, and department heads. CRC maintains regular interaction with the corporate houses via its various orientation programs, guest lectures, industrial visits, and forum and alumni interactions.

Campus Facilities

The 50 acres of the campus of AUC is situated in the lush green environment of Raipur. The campus is equipped with the best in world infrastructure to enhance learning. The infrastructure available on campus includes auditoriums, halls, classrooms, and Moot courts. Besides these, labs, studios, and advanced workstations are also provided to the students for their growth. The institute has its own IT Network situated within the campus to provide excellent and high-speed internet connectivity. All these facilities are made available to the students to help them hone their skills and become a valuable asset to the university as well for the country. 

To maintain a secure, safe, and potent learning environment, the college provides its students with well-furnished hostels with an accommodation capacity of 500 students. It possesses clean, hygienic, and spacious interaction halls, mess, and canteens providing students with nutritious food and great discussion areas. Alongside, a special cafeteria is present on the campus operating from 8 AM to 8 PM to provide the students with the taste that suits them, in the most hygienic manner.
