PSEB 12th Result 2023 Live: Students’ anticipation has been satisfied with the announcement of the Class 12 board exam final results by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Today, at about 2:30 pm, the results were formally declared. The PSEB’s official website, pseb.org, now offers access to and downloads of the exam results for students who took the exams this year.
Around three lakh students in Punjab took the Class 12 examination this year, which attracted a sizable number of participants. The tests were given over two months, beginning on February 20 and ending on April 20, 2023.
These exams, which occurred between February 20 and April 21, represented a significant turning point in the student’s academic careers. Now that the results are available, the students can evaluate their performance and make plans.
PSEB 12th Result 2023 Passing Percentage and other essential details
2,96,709 students showed up for the test, and 2,74,378 passed it, yielding a 92.47% passing rate. Compared to last year, the pass percentage has decreased by about 3% this year. The board’s overall pass rate in 2022 was 95.99 percent, but it was only 92.47% this year. While 1.225 students failed the test, 18,569 will take the compartment exams. The state’s highest pass rate, 96.91 percent, was recorded in the district of Gurdaspur, while the lowest, 80.47 percent, was recorded in Barnala.
PSEB 12th Result 2022 Stats
3,01,700 students took their class 12 exams in 2022, and 2,92,530 passed. Like every year, girls took the top three spots and outperformed boys in every category. A total of 1,37,161 girls appeared in the exam, and 1,34,182 passed. In contrast, 1,64,529 boys took the exam, and 1,49,329 passed. Before that (in 2021), 2,92,683 students registered for the PSEB Class 12 board exams. 96.48 percent of candidates passed the exam, which is 3.71 percent more than in 2020.
Girls Topped PSEB 12th Exam 2023
Sujan Kaur, a student from Dashmesh Convent Senior Secondary School, Sardulgarh (Mansa), topped the PSEB Class 12 exams in 2023 by scoring 100% marks. Shreya Singla of MSD Senior Secondary School in Bathinda, who scored 99.60 percent, is second in the state. She scored 498 out of 500.
Steps to download the PSEB class 12 result 2023
Step 1: Go to the official website of pseb.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, select the link labeled “PSEB Class 12 Board Result 2023.”
Step 3: Complete the required information, including the roll number, DOB, and the provided captcha text image.
Step 4: After you click “Submit,” the Punjabi Class 12 board exam results will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download the page and print it out for your records.
PSEB conducted a press conference to release the results, as has become custom. At the press conference, information such as the names of the top 12 students and pass rates was released. The link for the PSEB 12th Result 2023 will go live tomorrow, May 25, 2023. At 8 am, the link will be accessible.
