GMAT Exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria & Stats
As of the updates, applicants submitting applications for Round 1 admissions (September or October 2023) are eligible to take the current GMAT exam. They can take the GMAT Focus Edition in December 2023 or at the beginning of 2024 if they apply for admission in rounds 2 and 3. According to the information, the GMAT scores are part of the selection criteria for over 7,700 programs at 2,400 universities and organizations across 110 countries.
Candidates must have a current passport to take the GMAT exam. Additionally, they must have earned their bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. In 2023, anyone who is an employed professional or in their final year of undergraduate study may take the GMAT exam.
GMAT Exam 2023: Syllabus & Exam Structure
Candidates should be aware that the GMAT exam times have been shortened by an hour in the focus edition by the Graduate Management Admission Council. There will be three 45-minute sections in all, and this version of the test does not require essay writing.
The GMAT exam has been updated with new features, such as a question review and edit option and the capability for applicants to select the section order of the paper. The GMAT syllabus has also been changed, as noted in the GMAT Focus Edition syllabus, with the sentence correction section being eliminated and a new division known as Data Insights (DI) being added.

Steps to Register for the GMAT Exam 2023
Candidates must create a profile on the official website and fill it out with the necessary information to register. They can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 2: Press the Register Now button on the screen.
Step 3: Create a GMAT profile and complete the relevant information as prompted.
Step 4: Complete the profile verification and choose the exam date and location.
Step 5: Confirm the information and submit payment for the GMAT 2023 exam.
Step 6: Save the confirmation page for your GMAT application.
Step 7: Make a hard copy to keep for later use.
GMAT Exam 2023: Important Information
A candidate may take the GMAT exam up to five times in one calendar year, with a 16-day gap between each attempt. A candidate can make a maximum of 8 attempts in their lifetime.
This year’s GMAT Focus Edition has a standout feature that allows applicants to pick the order in which they take the exam sections. With the help of this customization, candidates should be able to obtain the highest score possible following GMAC’s suggestions.
