To enrol and take admission under various UG, PG, and Diploma courses offered at WUD, School of Design candidates must clear the following screens:
WUD receives interested candidates for admission from students from every corner of the country. The admission procedure begins with the application form online from the official website. After the application form is filled up, it is required to be submitted along with the application fee online. This is followed by a download of the admit cards before the exam. On clearing the aptitude test, shortlisted candidates are invited to campus for an interview round to evaluate their creative works. Based on the result, the candidate is offered admission to their desired course.
At WUD, career planning is considered an integral part of the design curriculum. To get admission in any of the bachelor's in design programs offered by WUD, the candidate must be a 10+2 pass with a minimum of 50% marks and must qualify for the Aptitude test followed by the interview. If the candidate is UCEED/NID/NIFT qualified, then they can get admission as well.
For admission to a master's in a design program, the candidate must have 50% marks in graduation and should have cleared the aptitude test followed by the interview. Even if the candidate is CEED/NID/NIFT qualified, they still need to appear for an interview. If all the above conditions satisfy then only the desired seat is offered to the candidate.
