Overview
The medical college, SN Medical College was established in Rajasthan in 1965. The institute was developed by the Medical and Health Department, Govt. of Rajasthan. The first batch of students was started on 17th July 1965. The batch was started with 75 students and now, there are hundreds of students who passed every year and serve the nation. At present, the college has organized 21 Postgraduate courses for medical aspirants. Apart from that, the institute is full of modern amenities like a Cricket ground, Tennis Court, Swimming Pool, Library, Laboratories for non-clinical subjects (Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology). The hospitals that are attached to the medical institute are The Umaid Hospital, The Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, The Kamala Nehru TB & Chest Hospital, The Psychiatric Hospital, The Mathuradas Mathaur Hospital.
