Overview

Earlier known as the BV Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering, the KLE Technological University came into existence in the year 2012, officially. Its parent body, which is the BVB college was established in 1947 by KLE society which stands for the Karnataka Lingayat education. 

It is an autonomous private university under the state government of Karnataka. It offers various courses and has had over 35,000 undergraduates and a highly trained academic staff of over 200 people. It has its motto to not only provide quality knowledge but also inculcate and establish lasting values ​​among its students.

Courses Offered

The KLE technological university provides a variety of courses for undergraduates and postgraduates as well as research-based courses like a PhD. Each course has its own unique eligibility criteria one has to follow. Here are the courses that it offers.

The Highlight of the Courses

• The courses are highly modernized and are a perfect balance of traditional learning with practical knowledge, which helps students to create a very strong base of knowledge for whatever course they might be in.

Admission

While different courses required different exam's scorecards. The admission process for every course remains similar. First of all the candidates have to fill out a form from the respective website of their exams that they must take before applying to any of the courses at KLE. KLE eligibility criteria include a different exam score-sheet that one has to give during admission. 

After giving the exams, candidates can visit the official website of the KLE University and apply for their desired courses. 

• Visit the official KLE technological website and search for "apply now" and click on it.
• Fill out the application that it provides with all necessary information, ranging from personal information to academic qualifications.
• Further upload the necessary scanned version of your supporting documentation for the data you've filled out. The document includes a mark sheet, admit card etc.
• Submit the application along with paying the application fee and keep a copy of the document.

Result and Cut Off

KLE Technological university has a versatile board that makes the selection process for the university. Similar to other universities, the selection is highly based on the merit of their previous qualification along with different entrance exam results that the university demands.

Candidates who wish to fill out forms have to take the entrance exams prior to the admission process and obtain the required scoresheet. The admission portal specifies the cutoff of every single course and candidates who do not pass then should not apply.

After the applications are reviewed, the best are selected based on merit and are called for a personal interview for further selection.

Placements

KLE University has been known for the remarkable places it offers to its students. It has partnerships with international as well as national companies which visit the campus every year and hire hundreds of students every year during the campus.

The placement ratio of KLE keeps on growing every year and so does the number of hiring companies. Some of the companies that are a staple during placements in KLE are Accenture, TCS, Infosys, SAP labs, Amazon and so on.

Amazon is said to provide brilliant packages up to 19 LPA. While Accenture hires the most number of students. In 2020 alone, there have been a total of 781 placements done on the campus of KLE which is more than 3% higher than last year.

Campus Facilities

The KLE Campus is one of the most remarkable ones in the state. It has some of the best labs in the country for the students to experiment and learn. There is a computer lab, electronics lab. Automobile lab, mechanical lab, etc. it has a library equipped with the latest books and other academic-related materials. 

KLE provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys. It has Wi-Fi on campus. It has various sports facilities on campus including a basketball court, cricket ground, volleyball court etc. The campus also includes facilities for the disabled along with seminar halls and amphitheater.

Alumni Network

KLE leaves a mark on its students and therefore most of the alumni keep in contact with each other as well as the university and often visit it too. Here are some of the alumni of KLE university.
