The college was established in the year 1972 in Imphal. The institute works under the “North Eastern Regional Medical College Society”.

Admission Procedure

• The candidates seeking admission to RIMS MBBS, BDS, MS and MD programs, must appear for the NEET entrance examination. The candidate’s final selection is based on NEET scores.
• Admission to the B.Sc nursing program is granted on the basis of the 10+2 examination.
• The institute organizes a written examination for the aspirants, seeking admission in M.Ch. program. The candidates are selected on the basis of examination and their performance.
• For seeking admission in Ph.D., candidates have to get their name on the merit list.

Application process

• The candidates taking admission in RIMS courses, have to visit the RIMS, Imphal official website.
• Download the form, fill in the required details.
• The candidate needs to pay an amount of INR 2,000 via DD along with the application form, in the favour of RIMS, Imphal Director.
