R A Podar Ayurved Medical College is the brand name in the world of Ayurveda. The institute has a medical college, R.A Podar Medical College and hospital, M.A Podar Ayurvedic hospital. The institute was established by an agreement between two donors “Podar” and then the Govt of Bombay in 1941. For the last 60 years, this medical institute is regarded as the best medical institute in India, especially for Ayurveda. The college is rendering services to the needy ones in society and spreading Ayurveda knowledge in the world. The college past is excellent and its future is outstanding. Every year 60 students get the golden opportunity to learn Ayurvedic science in this reputed college. Apart from this, the students get the chance to MD/MS courses in various disciplines like Shalys, Shalakya, and Kayachikitsa. The institute is the approved institute for doing a Ph.D. course in the Ayurved field.
