Overview

Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, was well-recognized as the first private medical college established in 1953 in India. But, the College got recognition by the Medical Council of India in 1958. In 2008, KMC got recognition from the Government of India. KMC’s functioning comes under the functioning of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). KMC being the top medical college in Manipur offers various courses to the students. It provides degree and doctoral programs in varied disciplines, Medicine, Surgery, Forensic Science, Super Speciality, and others. Students got admission in KMC based on the college cut-off and entrance examination.

Courses and Eligibility

Admission Procedure 

• You must land at the official website of KMC
• Click on the Apply Button.
• You must fill in all the details in the form carefully.
• At this step, upload your signature and photograph
• Select the desired program and enter your valid address.
• Select a payment mode.
• For the General category, the Application fee is INR 600 and INR 2500 for ( NRI/ NRI sponsored/ Foreign). You can pay with your preferred means.

Counseling

Eligible candidates are always welcome at KMC, You can acquire a seat at KMC by following counseling procedures:

• There is Centralized NEET counseling.
• 15% AQI seats in NEET counseling are done by DGHS, Delhi.
• Via, KEA State level counseling.
• Candidates can apply via the Management quota.
• For general candidates, a counseling registration fee is INR 1000 and INR 500 is charged from ST/SC/OBC applicants.

Selection Procedure

Once the merit list gets released, students need to visit the college for admission along with their documents.

In case, students fail to acquire their seats, their seats will get forfeited.
