The Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET) DAT is known to continue the legacy of the Academic excellence of JIET with the UG courses it offers in design and futuristic technology. The institute is affiliated with Bikaner Technical University, Rajasthan, and is Rajasthan's first AICTE approved college. According to the QIV ranking of BTU, the institute has achieved 12th rank.

Since its inception in 2007, the prestigious institute is committed to providing educational excellence in design, encouraging student's potential, and nurturing their innovative thinking. The institute is renowned as the first and foremost institute among all the RTU/ BTU affiliated institutes to have collaborated with valuable higher education platforms. These platforms are upGrad and Cipper School. All the design courses offered by JIET are AICTE approved, and they were also the first institute in India to have their design courses approved by AICTE.

Admission Process

The unique specialization courses offered by JIET DAT in design are best among the various private institutes of design affiliated with BTU. For admission under the desired design course under JIET DAT, the candidate needs to fill the application form available at the institute's website. Once the application is approved, and a seat under the desired course is available, the candidate is offered a course of their choice. Then they are required to pay the admission fee and start the journey of growth with JIET DAT. There are no further steps such as design tests and personal interviews required for gaining admission at JIET.

For admission in technological courses, the candidate must be eligible from REAP with a 60+ percentage in 10+2 higher secondary education.

Results and Cut-off

There is no such screening exam for admission under any design course offered by JIET. The candidate only needs to be a 10+2 pass from a recognized board with a good percentage above 60% from any stream. The student will have toto register at the institute's official website, which is followed by filling up the application form. Once the application is submitted, some internal screenings and quality of answers are provided with the application form. The candidate is selected and offered the seat in the desired course depending on the seat availability. But for B. Tech. courses the admission takes place from screening based on REAP.
