Overview

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College of Law, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, was established in 2004. The college is affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University. It comes under the World Humanitarian Charitable Trust, a non-profitable organization founded by an educationalist and philanthropist, Prof. C. Ramamurthy. The college aims to achieve excellence in the field of law and also gives importance to justice. While educating students on law, they also instil the basic values that are needed in the legal profession and basic human dignity. 

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar College of Law helps develop and implement learning assessments while changing international opportunities through their curriculum, and continual development of technology. The professors are always open to new ideas and make sure that the students are willing to think differently. They want to train in coveted law education, but they also want this to act as an intellectual stimulation or social change that would help in the career enhancement of the students. 

The World Humanitarian Charitable Trust aims at helping the poor and the underprivileged people through education, without any discrimination based on caste, creed, colour, et cetera. They have advanced facilities like moot court and hostel facilities with free Wi-Fi for all of the students. They also have a computer lab and an academy zone present in the college. 

The College is approved by the Bar Council of India.

Courses Offered

The college offers two courses in the field of Law - a three-year LL. B. and a five-year LL. B. Because of their extensive course syllabus and eminent faculty members, the courses are amongst the top-notch available in the country.

Admission Process

• If the students are eligible, they will have to go through an interview, and selection will be done based on the marks and the interview. It is completely merit-based. 

• The list of the selected candidates will then be published on the notice board of the college on the given admission date. 

• The candidates should join the college at the given time and meet the principal on the given date and time, accompanied by a parent. 

• All documents have to be submitted on time. The list of documents to be submitted is given on the college website and might differ for students from abroad or N.R.I. students.
