Coimbatore Medical College is a well-reputed medical institute, situated in Coimbatore. The college is known for providing Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses to medical aspirants. At present, the medical aspirants will get a chance to do a full-time MBBS degree course of 5 years and even, the college offers postgraduate courses such as M.D (Doctorate of Medicine) and M.Ch (Master of Chirurgie), and M.S (Master of Surgery). 

The college laid its foundation in 1966 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The motto of the college is to deliver the best medical education to the students.

Application Process

At Coimbatore Medical College, there is a common application process for all the courses. To apply for admissions, you must follow the below steps 

• Firstly, the candidate must register for the NEET entrance exam at NEET official site.
• The candidates who want to do the MBBS course must have to clear NEET by registering their details at NEET’s official site.
• The candidate has to submit all the mandatory details and upload the documents.
• The candidate has to pay INR 1400 as an application fee ( INR 700 for research category applicants).
• After this, the candidates must get the application form for UG/PG course from the college office.
• The candidates have to submit their documents and their NEET score.
• The candidate selection is based on merit.
• The candidate who is applying for MBBS will get selected on the basis of the NEET score and marks scored in the qualifying exam.
• A list of the selected candidates will be displayed on the college website and noticeboard.
• Selected candidates have to visit the college and have to complete their admission procedure at the prescribed date and time.
