Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College was founded in  February 1989 in Pune. With years of hard work and excellence in the academic field, the college has achieved the limelight of thousands of medical aspirants. The institute was officially affiliated with the University of Pune until it got its constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1996. The best part of the institute is: Is attached to a teaching hospital and Medical college on 25 acres of land. The beauty of the college is its sprawling lush green campus and its modern teaching types of equipment.

The aim of the institute is to be the perfect hub of medical knowledge for students. The institute at present has gained attention because of its academic excellence, its talented faculty, and smart infrastructure. The candidates who want to transform their life and boost up their careers can join the institute. But before taking admission, the candidate has to fulfill the institute’s eligibility process. 

The institute and its attached hospital have been selected as a “ Center of excellence for Mother and Child Health  & Eclampsia” by the renowned Indian Council of Medical Research (IMCR), New Delhi.  

The college is offering various degrees to students 3 UG Degree, 27 PG Degree and 05 Super-Speciality Degree, and 08 Diploma. There are Ph.D. in 9 subjects, short term fellowship certificate courses.
