Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of the B. A. LL.B course are curated below in the table form

An applicant who has successfully completed a Pre-University course or Senior Secondary School Course ('+2') or equivalent, such as (11 + 1, 'A' level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a recognised University of India or outside, from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent, constituted or recognised by the Union or by the State Government, or from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the government of that country for the purpose of admission, may apply.

 

Given that candidates who completed their courses via correspondence or distance learning and received a +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or First Degree Certificate are also eligible for admission to the courses.

 

Additionally, candidates who completed their 10+2 or undergraduate or graduate degrees through the open university system without possessing the prerequisite training for such pursuits are ineligible for admission to the programme.

 

A general category applicant's qualifying examination must have a minimum percentage of marks of 45 (44.5 and above must be considered as 45 of the total marks) and a minimum percentage of 40 (39.5 and above shall be treated as 40) for SC and ST candidates.

 

As of the first of June, the maximum age for admission is twenty years for general candidates and twenty-two years for applicants from SC, ST, and other backward communities.
