Jaypee University is a private state university that is situated in Anoopshahr, in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, and was established in 2014 by the Jaypee Group. The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university believes in imparting a great set of knowledge in the technology and innovation fields. The fastly growing demand for technology and innovation in today's world creates huge opportunities for the students at the university. Course Highlights

The university offers various courses under different faculties in several specializations. Some of them are mentioned below.

• The Faculty of Engineering offers courses like B.Tech and Ph.D in various specializations such as computer science engineering and information technology.
• The Faculty of Science offers undergraduate and doctoral programs in various specializations such as physics, material science, life science, mathematics, chemistry, and many more.
• The Faculty of Arts offers undergraduate programs in various specializations such as humanities and social sciences, journalism and mass communication, library and information science, and many more.

Admission Process

The candidates need to follow the given procedures to get admission to the university.

• The university offers both online and offline modes of application. The candidates have to visit the official website of the university to download the application form.
• The candidates have to fill in the application form completely with the required details and upload the necessary documents like marksheets and certificates of previous academic records.
• The candidates have to pay an application fee to submit the application form.
• The candidates have to appear in the entrance examinations required for their desired courses.
• The students with the cutoff marks are called for the counseling process where they have to go through document verification and personal interviews.
• The university releases a merit list of the selected candidates who have to pay an admission fee to confirm their seats at the university in the desired course.

Results and Cut off

The students are given admission at the university on the basis of the eligibility criteria and the marks scored in the entrance examinations conducted by the university and the other national level entrance exams like JEE Mains, UGC NET, CSIR NET, and others.

The university offers admission to engineering courses on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Mains by the students. The Ph.D courses follow similar norms set by the UGC where the students have to pass the NET entrance examinations in the specific subject.

The eligibility criteria for each course differ according to the requirements of the university. The students have to pass the 10+2 or an equivalent level of examination from a recognized board of education in a similar subject with at least 60% marks for admission to engineering undergraduate courses. Other undergraduate courses require at least 50% marks as an eligibility criteria. For admission to doctoral programs, students need to have a postgraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India or abroad. A relaxation of 5% marks is given to the reserve category students.

Placement

The training and placement cell at the university plays a major role in preparing the students to get ready for the placements and making the companies come to the university for the campus placement drives. Students in their final years of academics get an opportunity to start their professional careers before completing the academic session. The students from the university are working with many renowned companies today and making the university a better place for recruiters to hire brilliant minds. The highest salary package offered to any student at the campus is 32.5 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package of the placed students in the last academic session was 6 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters of the university are Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Infosys, SAP Labs, IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Wipro, Microsoft, CSC, Dell, and many more.

Campus Facilities

The campus of the university is located in Anoopshahr, in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh and spread over an area of 80 acres. The university is situated on the bank of the Ganges, which offers a soothing environment for the students to complete their academic sessions. The campus offers all the facilities like hostels, library, laboratories, sports grounds, medical, mess, cafeterias, transportation, wi-fi, auditorium, and many more. 

There are 3 hostels for boys and one separate hostel for girls at the campus. The hostel rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and offer a hygienic environment for the students. The mess offers healthy and tasty meals and breakfast to the students, and the mess menu keeps changing according to the season and the demands of the students.

The library at the campus offers various academic books along with journals, magazines, project reports, and daily newspapers for the students. There is seating arrangement for 100 students at a time, where the students can study in a peaceful environment. The students can borrow the books for a limited period of time during their academic sessions. The library has a digital section where the books are available in digital formats.

The laboratories at the university are equipped with the latest equipment and resources, which are needed for completing the practical's for each subject. The computers in the labs are always connected to the internet and have the latest software. The auditorium is used for hosting various cultural and technical fests at the camp.
