Arni University is a private state university that is situated in Tanda, Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 2009 by the KD Education Trust and later recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers various diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations such as engineering, pharmacy, arts, humanities, management, commerce, legal studies, basic science, agriculture, paramedical sciences, computer sciences, design, and many more.
The university has more than 1200 students and more than 79 faculty members who are well experienced and have an exceptional set of knowledge in their recognized subjects. Most of the faculty members have doctoral degrees from recognized universities in India, which authenticates their capabilities. The students get great assistance from them during their academic sessions and learn things that will be helpful in their professional careers. The university offers various scholarship schemes for meritorious students and students coming from weaker financial sections.

The candidates need to follow the given procedure to get admission to the university.
The students are given admission to the university on the basis of their previous academic records and valid scorecards in entrance examinations like JEE Mains, HPTU, GATE, CAT, MAT, and other national level entrance exams.
The university offers admissions to engineering and technical courses on the basis of the marks scored in the JEE Mains, HPTU, and GATE entrance examinations. The students need to score cutoff marks in the CAT, CMAT, and other eligibility entrance tests to get admission in the business courses. The university conducts entrance examinations for admission into doctoral courses.
The students are required to pass the 10+2 or an equivalent level of examinations from a recognized board of education with at least 45% marks to get admission to an undergraduate course. For a master’s degree, students are required to have an undergraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 50% marks, except for M.Com, which has an eligibility criteria of at least 45% marks. For doctoral courses, students are required to have a postgraduate degree in a similar specialization from a recognized university with at least 55% marks. A relaxation of 5% marks is given to reserve category students.
The university offers campus placement drives for students in their final years of academic session that give them the opportunity to start their professional career just after completing their academics. The university has tie ups with several universities that help in arranging joint campus placement drives. In the last academic session, a total of 35+ national and multinational companies visited the joint universities where the students participated and got many offers from them. The highest salary package offered to any student was Rs. 6 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package of the students was Rs. 4 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters of the university are Redhat, Mahindra, TCS, ARM, Honda, Infosys, and many more.

The campus of the university is located in Tanda, Himachal Pradesh and spread over an area of 120 acres, which is filled with a lot of greenery and trees that offer a suitable environment for the students to complete their academic sessions. The campus has all the facilities like hostels, library, laboratories, transportation, wi-fi campus, gym, playgrounds, cafeteria, mess, seminar halls, auditorium, and many more.
The hostels at the university are divided on the basis of the courses and equipped with all the facilities like clean rooms, beds, fans, lights, wi-fi, security, and reading rooms. The mess is also attached to the hostels and offers great food for the students and staff. The hostels have a total accommodation capacity of 700 students.
The university focuses on the all round development of the students as it offers playgrounds for cricket, football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, and many other sports to promote physical fitness in the students. The cafeteria at the university is the place where the students love to spend their time. The gym at the campus has the latest equipment to perform intense workouts.
The university offers medical facilities for the students and regularly monitors their health conditions by organizing various medical camps at the campus. The university has tie up with the civil hospital close to the university that is used by the students in case of an emergency at the university.
