NEET UG 2023 Merit List Criteria The NEET results will serve as the foundation for the merit list for counseling. Candidates whose results are good enough to cross the cutoff marks will make their way to the NEET UG merit list. To allocate the seats available under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) category, this list will then be sent to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). NEET scores are only valid for the current academic year or one year when applying for admission to Indian colleges. These regulations state that applicants must have earned a minimum of 50% overall in physics, chemistry, and biology on their Class 12 examinations. For candidates who fall under a reserved class or who are disabled, the minimum requirement is 40%.
