NEET UG Result 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release the results of the National Eligibility Completion Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG) 2023 today, June 13. Candidates can access their scorecards directly through the website’s neet.nta.nic.in official page once the NEET UG 2023 result is available. The NEET UG 2023 examination was conducted in offline mode on May 7. Besides English, the NEET UG 2023 exam also took place in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.

NEET UG Result 2023: Information on Scorecard
This year, over 20 lakh candidates took the NEET exam. The 2023 NEET scorecard will include the percentile scores in physics, chemistry, and biology, the overall percentile score, the total marks earned out of 720, the NEET All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and the cutoff score.
NEET UG 2023 Merit List Criteria
The NEET results will serve as the foundation for the merit list for counseling. Candidates whose results are good enough to cross the cutoff marks will make their way to the NEET UG merit list. To allocate the seats available under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) category, this list will then be sent to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). NEET scores are only valid for the current academic year or one year when applying for admission to Indian colleges.

NEET UG Result 2023: Validity
However, the Medical Council of India (MCI) has increased the validity period to three years for admission to foreign colleges. This extension enables students applying to institutions abroad to use their NEET scores for a more extended period, considering the potentially longer admissions process in such circumstances. Before that, on June 4, 2023, the NTA published the provisional answer key for the NEET exam. Candidates had until June 6, 2023, to voice their concerns about the answer key.
Steps to Download NEET UG Result 2023
Step 1: Go to neet.nta.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: Select the NEET UG 2023 result scorecard by clicking the link under the “candidate activity” section.
Step 3: A new window will open, where you must enter your NEET UG application number and birthdate in the appropriate fields.
Step 4: Submit the form after providing the necessary information.
Step 5: A scorecard for the NEET exam for undergraduates in 2023 will be shown on the screen.
Step 6: Download the scorecard and save it for later use.
NEET UG Result 2023: What to do after Result announcement
Candidates who have qualified will be able to participate in the counseling process after the NEET 2023 results are announced. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will be in charge of organizing the NEET UG 2023 counseling. The official NEET UG 2023 counseling schedule will be available on the MCC’s website, mcc.nic.in.
BAMS Admissions Through NEET UG 2023 Result
The results of NEET 2023 will be used to determine eligibility for admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical and Surgery (BAMS) program. The Ministry of Ayush has made available the BAMS admission requirements, which specify the criteria for applicants. These regulations state that applicants must have earned a minimum of 50% overall in physics, chemistry, and biology on their Class 12 examinations. For candidates who fall under a reserved class or who are disabled, the minimum requirement is 40%.
