Passing marks criteria in BSEB 10th Exam
To be eligible for the BSEB Class 10 exams, candidates must receive a minimum score of 30 percent in each subject, according to the new requirements. The Bihar Board Matriculation Examination consists of five 100-point papers worth 500 marks. To pass the matriculation exam, students must receive 150 marks.
Will the BSEB matric pass percentage in 2023 improve?
Over time, the overall Class 10 pass rate for the Bihar Board has increased. In 2017, 50.12% of students passed the test; this number increased to 68.89% in 2018 and 80.73% in 2019. Bihar was one of the few states to hold board exams throughout the pandemic years, and it also performed significantly better than other states. The Board’s pass percentage in 2020 was 80.59%; it fell to 78.17% in 2021 and then increased to 79.88% in 2022.
