Eligibility Criteria

Students are admitted to the university based on their prior academic performance, how well they did on standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, and in some cases, English proficiency tests for international students.

Undergraduate admission is done in different categories based on the academic level of the students, if the student is seeking admission just after passing their 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education, they will be admitted as freshmen. The university also accepts transfer students in the 2nd and 3rd year of the courses if they have completed their previous credits at some recognized universities.

Students must have an undergraduate degree in a related field from an accredited university in order to enroll in the postgraduate programs. Students who wish to enroll in doctoral programs must hold a postgraduate degree in a related field from an accredited institution.

Admission

The applicants have to follow the given procedure in order to gain admission to the university for their desired courses.

The applicants have to visit the official website of the university to apply for the admissions.
The candidates need to click on the admission tab and proceed with the apply now button.
The candidates need to create an account with their email ID on the application portal and have to create a password for the further login process.
After the registration process the candidates are required to fill in an application form for their desired courses at the university.
The candidates have to appear in the entrance examinations like the SAT and ACT to improve their chances of selection.
The international students whose primary language is not English must have to appear in an English proficiency test like TOEFL or any other.

Fees

The tuition fee for the undergraduate courses at the university for the academic session 2022-23 is $5964, while the cost of attendance is different for residents and nonresidents. The residents have to pay a total of $9327.50 and the nonresidents have to pay a total of $24204.50 for an academic year of 2022-23.

The tuition fee for postgraduate courses at the university for the academic year 2022-23 is $5850, and the total cost of attendance for residents will be $10552. The nonresidents have to pay a total of $18,103 for one academic year.

The professional graduate courses are a bit costly, and the resident students have to pay $36894 for the academic session of 2022-23 while the nonresidents have to pay $41398.50 for one academic year.

Campus facilities

The Berkeley campus of the university is spread over an area of 1232 acres and has all the necessary facilities that are required by the students to complete their academic sessions. The campus has facilities like housing, dining, events and attractions, health and safety, student organizations, athletics, recreational sports, and many more.

The university campus offers housing facilities for the students, as they have built 17 houses inside the campus to accommodate them in the best possible living environment. The campus also offers dining facilities for the students to keep them healthy and fit throughout their academic sessions.
