The campus, which is situated in Calgary's northwest quadrant, covers an area larger than the downtown area by more than 200 hectares.

The academic buildings for the sciences, engineering, biology, social sciences, and kinesiology are on the northern side of campus, while the residence halls for thousands of students and Hotel Alma, our on-campus retreat for visitors, are on the southern side. The professional faculties, which include education, environmental design, nursing, social work, business, and law are located here.

The Taylor Family Digital Library, the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, and the MacEwan Student Centre serve as hubs of academic and recreational activity in the center of campus.
