High school students who are attempting to gain admission to foreign universities take the SAT exam. For undergraduate admissions from international students, the majority of US, Canadian, UK, Italian, and a few Australian universities accept SAT scores. In some circumstances, students may be given the option of submitting a SAT or ACT score for admission, or they may even be exempt from doing so. The SAT exam pattern is very different from the ACT, and due to recent changes, the SAT exam's time limit has also been shortened.

Can I take the SAT after I finish high school? +

The College Board has not established any specific age requirements for taking the SAT exam. However, because the SAT is required for admission to undergraduate programs, applicants are advised to take the test either in the final months of classes XI and XII or right after they graduate from high school. Students typically take the SAT after deciding to apply to foreign universities for undergrad programs. So, the answer is that a student can take the SAT exam after class XII. That sums up the final SAT Exam Eligibility.

How much does it cost to take the SAT Exam in India? +

The SAT Exam registration fee in India, which is USD 60, is added to the international registration fee (digital), which is USD 43, to determine the price of taking the SAT exam in India. Indian students will therefore be required to pay this sum only online using either PayPal or credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or JCB. Only in cases where students have a waiver code for the SAT exam is the SAT exam fee amount reduced by 5–10%.

In 2023, will there be a SAT Subject test? +

No, starting in 2023, the SAT Subject Tests will no longer be offered, with the introduction of the Digital SAT for students from abroad. However, because the US is still administering the SAT exam on paper with the intention of switching to digital administration in 2024, students who are taking the SAT in the US are still eligible to take the SAT Subject Test.
