UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) available for the 2023 Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination. All applicants should fill out the online application form at upsconline.nic.in if they qualify for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2023 after passing the screening round of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2023 (CSE 2023) for that purpose.

Applicants must log in using their registered email ID and the OTP they received in the mail to access the application form. Then they must complete the captcha that appears on their screen. 

UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: Important Dates

Candidates should know they have until August 28 at 6:00 PM to complete their applications. November 26 is the scheduled date for the IFoS (Main) Examination 2023. The government hopes to fill about 1,105 openings by recruiting for this position.

UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must be under 32 and at least 21 years old to be eligible for IFS 2023. They must have completed the 10+2 exams and hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited UGC university. Applicants should visit the commission’s official website or the attached notification for more information.

Steps To Apply UPSC IFS Main 2023

Step 1: Go to upsconline.nic.in, the UPSC’s official website.
Step 2: Locate the “DAF for VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC” section on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the “Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023 [DAF I]” link from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: Enter your login information, including your roll number and password.
Step 5: Complete the DAF-I application form and press the “submit” button.
Step 6: Download the completed form for your records.

UPSC IFS Main Exam 2023: Official Notice

All qualified candidates are advised to complete the DAF-I for the IFoS (MAIN) Examination- 2023 as per the recommended mode, which is ONLINE, according to the official notification, which stated as such. To be considered for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination-2023, which will begin on Sunday, November 26, 2023, submit the required documentation ONLINE.

The Rules of the Indian Forest Service Examination-2023, which were published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) and made available by the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change on February 02 of this year, were referenced in the notice, which instructed qualified applicants to consult them for additional information. The DAF-I online application must be submitted by qualified candidates within the allotted time frame.
