Motherhood University is a private state university which is situated in Roorkee, near Haridwar in Uttarakhand and was established in 2015 by the Uttarakhand Government. The university was later recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers various diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in several specializations like engineering, science, arts, humanities, social science, commerce, management, education, legal studies, paramedical, allied health science, pharmaceuticals, and many more.

The students are given admission to the university when they fulfill the eligibility criteria and have scored the cutoff marks in the entrance examination conducted by the university or any other national level entrance examination conducted by the government agencies.
