NEET PG Counseling 2022 is being conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) which will be responsible for 50% seat allotment of All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% of Deemed/Central Universities/AFMS/PG DNB seats in 2022 for MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses. The first round of counseling is going on as the process of seat allotment for Ist round is going to end on the 4th October after selected candidates join the allotted college. The MCC will conduct 4 rounds of counseling in which the candidates can register themselves in the first three rounds, and the last round (Online Stray Vacancy Round) will not include any registration process.
There are a total of 5 steps in counseling. The candidates have to go through all the processes to get admission to the allotted college.
The registration for the 2nd round is going to start from 10th October which will end on 14th October at 12 PM but the candidates can pay for the registration till 8 Pm. The candidates can choose their preferences of courses and colleges from 11th October to 14th October till 11:55 PM. The universities and institutes will verify the internal candidates from 14th October to 16th October. The result for the seat allotment will be declared on 19th October and the selected students will be given 7 days time from 20th October to 26th October for reporting or joining the allotted college.

The MOP UP Round will start after the completion of the IInd round from 31st October. This will be the last round where candidates can register themselves for the counseling process. The tentative dates for this round of counseling are mentioned below.

This round will be dedicated to filling in the vacant seats by an online software which will include all the candidates from the MOP UP Round and previous rounds who do not hold any seats. The preferences in the MOP UP Round will be considered final, and the students are not allowed to make any changes. The tentative dates for this round of counseling are mentioned below.
