NCHMCT JEE 2024 Schedule: The National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) has released the registration schedule for 2024, which is a big step forward for those interested in a career in hotel management. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers this test as a starting point for applicants hoping to enroll in hotel management programs.

The registration process for the NCHMCT JEE 2024 is set to take place exclusively online, offering a streamlined and accessible method for candidates to apply for the examination. Aspiring students should mark their calendars as the tentative exam dates are scheduled for May 2024, with results expected to be announced in June 2024.

NCHMCT JEE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The age eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the exam vary based on their category. For those under the General and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 25 years as of July 1 of the exam year. In contrast, candidates from the SC, ST, and PwD categories enjoy a slightly extended upper age limit of 28 years

In addition to age criteria, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications to be eligible for the examination. They must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. Furthermore, individuals who are completing their 10+2 and are scheduled to appear for the qualifying examination in the same year are also considered eligible to apply.

NCHMCT JEE 2024: Exam Pattern and Seat Matrix

The NCHMCT JEE 2024 is a three-hour examination conducted in English and follows a computer-based test format. This format assesses candidates’ proficiency in various aspects relevant to hotel management. With 11,965 seats available, successful candidates can secure a spot in esteemed hotel management courses nationwide.

The examination evaluates candidates on various skills, including logical reasoning, numerical ability, scientific aptitude, general knowledge, and proficiency in English language comprehension. Conducted in both English and Hindi, the NCHMCT JEE employs a computer-based test (CBT) format. Candidates indicate their language preference during the registration process. The examination structure includes 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), providing a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ competencies in hotel management.

NCHMCT JEE 2024: Marking Scheme

Candidates must be aware of the marking scheme, which includes negative marking. While correct answers contribute 1 mark to the overall score, incorrect responses will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks. Therefore, strategic preparation and a thorough understanding of the examination pattern are essential for success.

Steps to Register for the NCHMCT JEE 2024

Step 1: Visit the NCHMCT JEE online application portal at https://www.nchmct.info/.
Step 2: Register on the portal by entering essential information, such as your email address and mobile number, and creating a secure password. Confirm your account through the verification link sent to your email.
Step 3: Log in to your account on the website using the credentials you created.
Step 4: Fill out the online application form with your details, including your name, date of birth, gender, and category.
Step 5: Provide information about your educational qualifications, including your 10+2 or equivalent details. If you are in the qualifying year, be prepared to furnish anticipated completion dates.
Step 6: Conclude the application process by making the necessary online payment. Payment options may include credit/debit cards, net banking, or other specified online methods. Ensure the payment is successful, and retain the transaction details for future reference.
