According to the website, the first session of the JEE (Main) – 2023 exam for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will take place on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and January 31. Session 2 will follow on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
In order to prevent the JEE (Main) – 2023 from interfering with the Board exams, which may be held at various times across the States/UTs, this is being done. Additionally, there will be two exams each year (in January and April of 2023) for Papers 2A and 2B (B. Arch and B. Planning).
Karti P. Chidambaram, a Congress member, has urged the education minister to relax the eligibility requirements for one year in order to give candidates who reportedly suffered because of technical difficulties another chance to sit for the entrance exam this year.
