DU Admission 2022: Registration Portal is Open Now, Check How to Register. Apply Before 3rd October to Get Admission to the UG Courses in 54 Colleges Affiliated to DU

DU Admission 2022: The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal was launched on 12th September for the admission of undergraduate courses in the 54 colleges affiliated to Delhi University.

The registration portal will be active till 3rd october and the students need to apply before that if they wish to get admission at the university. The admissions to the UG programs will be based on the CUET- UG ranking list. Previously, it was done on the basis of a merit list of the previous academic records of the students.

What is CSAS?

CSAS is the acronym for Common Seat Allocation System which is basically a portal where all the admission process of DU Admission 2022 will take place. From registration to the final allocation of the seats in the courses will be done through this portal.

The applicants need to pay an application fee to submit their application form at the CSAS portal which is Rs. 100 for the SC, ST and PWBD category and Rs. 250 for the UR, OBC-NCL, EWS category students.

Steps to Register on CSAS for the DU Admission 2022

Step 1: Visit the admission portal of DU which is https://admission.uod.ac.in/
Step 2: Click on the CSAS Registration Link 2022.
Step 3: A new portal of CSAS will be open on the screen, Click on the “New Registration” tab.
Step4: Enter the required details like CUET application number and date of birth to register.

What are the three phases of DU Admission 2022

After registration on the CSAS portal the students have to go through three phases for the admission to the desired colleges of DU. Firstly, the candidates need to fill in an application form by login to the CSAS portal. The candidates need to provide their personal details along with any other certificates like sports or Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) quota.

In the Second Phase, students are required to choose their subjects, courses along with their desired college with the CUET marks. In the third phase, the university will prepare a merit list for each course based on the students’ applications with their CUET marks and rankings.
