CLAT 2023 Registration Deadline Extended Till 18th Nov, Check the Steps to Apply Now

CLAT 2023 Registration Date: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2023 Exam) registration deadline has been extended by the National Law Universities Consortium (NLU). Originally set to expire on November 13, the deadline will now end on November 18. Inquiring candidates should submit their applications as soon as possible because the exam will be held in December. If a candidate wishes to apply for law admissions at NLU, they must first create an account on the university’s website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The exam will be conducted in an offline mode on December 18, 2022. Candidates for CLAT LLM must have completed their LLB program or be in their final year of the LLB program, while candidates for UG-CLAT 2022 must have passed their Class 12 exam or be scheduled to appear in the board examination.

Exam Structure

The total number of questions for the PG exam is 120, while the total number of questions for the UG exam is 150. The CLAT consists of five sections: logical reasoning, legal reasoning, English, current affairs and general knowledge. For every correct response, one mark is given, and for every incorrect response, 0.25 marks are taken away.

Steps to register for CLAT 2023

Step 1: Candidates who are interested and qualified should visit the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2: Switch to the CLAT 2023 tab on the homepage, then click the login window.
Step 3: Candidates will need to register in order to create login credentials.
Step 4: They must submit all necessary documents and complete the application form.
Step 5: Prior to submitting the application, candidates must pay the application fee.
Step 6: They ought to save the confirmation page, print it out, and keep it for future use.

Two tests were planned by the consortium for 2022. In May, the first session took place. Additionally, for candidates from the unreserved category, the consortium has decreased the counseling fee from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000. The cost for students in the reserved category is Rs 20,000.
