Assam HS Result 2023 Released: Class 12th Result Download Here, Passing Percentage, Toppers, and More

Assam Class 12th Result 2023: Assam HS 12th Results 2023 were released by the Assam Higher Secondary Council (AHSEC) today, June 6. The official AHSEC website is ahsec.assam.gov.in, where students who took the Class 12 exams can check and download their results.

The overall pass rate for the Arts stream is 70.12 per cent; for Commerce, it is 79.57 per cent; for Science, it is 84.96 per cent; and for vocational, it is 85.61 per cent. All streams have seen a decrease in the pass percentage. The pass rate for the arts stream was 83.48 per cent in 2022, compared to 87.26 per cent for commerce and 92.19 per cent for science.

In contrast to the Science stream, which had 46,384 applicants, and the Commerce stream, which had 20,417 applicants, the Arts stream saw a record participation rate of 2.61 lakh applicants. Between February 20 and March 20, 2023, there were two shifts for the AHSEC 12th Board Exams, one lasting from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and two lasting from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Assam HS Class 12th Result 2023: Stream-wise Toppers

Sankalpajit Saikia, a student from the arts stream, topped the overall exam by scoring 490 marks out of 500. Followed by a science stream student, Nikhilesh Dutta, who scored 484 marks. Varsha Bothra and Sukanya Kumar became the combined topper from the Commerce stream by scoring 472 out of 500 marks.

Assam HS Class 12th Result 2023: Girls with better performance

Girls have performed better than boys among the regular candidates in all three fields—science, the arts, and commerce. In the Science subject, female candidates passed with an average of 86.49%, while male candidates passed with an average of 83.80%. Male and female candidates passed with passing percentages in Arts of 66.94% and 72.92%, respectively. Additionally, compared to 78.88% of male candidates, 81.27 per cent of female candidates passed the exam in the field of commerce.

Assam HS Class 12th Result 2023: Overall Divisions Received by Students

A total of 20417 people registered for the exams in the Commerce stream, and 5254 of them received first divisions, 6486 received second divisions, and 4505 received third divisions. A total of 46383 students in the Science stream registered for the exams; of those, 18868 received the first division, 16455 received the second division, and 4082 received the third division. 28651 students in the Arts stream received the first division, 58869 students received the second division, and 95660 students received the third division.

Step 1: Go to the official website, which is located at ahsec.assam.gov.in.
Step 2: Select the Class 12 Board Results 2023 link on the home page.
Step 3: When a new page appears, enter your Roll Number and other information.
Step 4: Your outcome will be shown on the screen.
Step 5: Save the file to your computer and print it for future use.

2.15 lakh students registered to take the Assam Class 12th boards examination last year. Most of the 1.64 lakh candidates came from the arts stream, with 34,401 and 15,581 from science and commerce, respectively.

Assam HS Class 12th Result 2023: Recheck Process

Candidates can submit an online application at https://ahsec.assam.gov.in if they want their Answer Scripts to be rechecked. Two days after the results are announced, an online application portal for rechecking will be made available.
